I have over 20 years experience in human resources and leadership development, spanning the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. I was Human Resources Director with Liberty Global Europe, a digital media company, with responsibility for the UK, Netherlands, Spain and Central Europe. Prior to that, I was Head of Human Resources with Guardian News and Media Ltd. I held other HR roles with ITV, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Cabinet Office and the Government Legal Service. Previous clients include BBC, Economist, Philips, Tropical Health and Education Trust, Financial Ombudsman Service, National Health Service and Wilmington University.
I am a Certified Daring WayTM and Dare to LeadTM Facilitator, programmes based on the research of Dr Brené Brown, which explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, empathy and worthiness. I trained as a mediator and investigator with the TCM group and attained the National Certificate in Workplace Mediation in 2010.
I have an academic background in law, with a specialism in employment law. I hold an MSc In Human Resources Consultancy and a Diploma in Group Facilitation, Counselling Skills and Conflict Resolution. I am also an ordained Interfaith Minister and Spiritual Counsellor. I am co-founder of The Quest Collective C.I.C, a UK-based social enterprise that delivers personal development initiatives aimed at transforming the relationships gay, bi and queer men have with themselves, others and the world they inhabit.
I am a Chartered Member of the CIPD and currently a Board Member of the Centre for Courage and Renewal.
I am well versed in developing relationships and putting clients at ease, allowing them to enter a vulnerable space that facilitates deep understanding and transformation. I am passionate about co-creating spaces where everyone feels included and brave enough to bring all their stories of strength and struggle. I am also keen on helping clients cultivate the necessary habits for a consistent emotional hygiene practice.
