A little bit about who I am…

I have over 20 years experience in human resources and leadership development, spanning the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. I was Human Resources Director with Liberty Global Europe, a digital media company, with responsibility for the UK, Netherlands, Spain and Central Europe. Prior to that, I was Head of Human Resources with Guardian News and Media Ltd. I held other HR roles with ITV, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Cabinet Office and the Government Legal Service. Previous clients include BBC, Economist, Philips, Financial Ombudsman Service, National Health Service, Netflix, Biogen, Wilmington University, Unilever, Siemens and Jacobs Douwe Egberts.

I am a Certified Daring WayTM and Dare to LeadTM Facilitator, programmes based on the research of Dr Brené Brown, which explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, empathy and worthiness. I trained as a mediator and investigator with the TCM group and attained the National Certificate in Workplace Mediation in 2010.

I have an academic background in law, with a specialism in employment law. I hold an MSc in Human Resources Consultancy and a Diploma in Group Facilitation, Counselling Skills and Conflict Resolution. I am also an ordained Interfaith Minister and Spiritual Counsellor. I am co-founder of The Quest Collective C.I.C, a UK-based social enterprise that delivers personal development initiatives aimed at transforming the relationships gay, bi and queer men have with themselves, others and the world they inhabit.

I am an Accredited EMCC Coach at Senior Practitioner Level, I am also a Chartered Member of the CIPD. I currently serve as Board Member of the Centre for Courage and Renewal.

I am well versed in developing relationships and putting clients at ease, allowing them to enter a vulnerable space that facilitates deep understanding and transformation. I am passionate about co-creating spaces where everyone feels included and brave enough to bring their light and shadow, including their stories of strength and struggle. I am also keen on working with clients cultivate the necessary habits for a consistent emotional hygiene practice.
